Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cinderella (or just simply Cinderella) is a 2021 musical on London's West End by Andrew Lloyd Webber, with lyrics by David Zippel and a book by Emerald Fennell. It follows the protagonist Cinderella (portrayed by Carrie Hope Fletcher), an outcast from the town of Belleville, who changes her appearance to marry her friend Sebastian (portrayed by Ivano Turco) the new prince of Belleville. The musical is adapted from the story of the same name but is themed around being true to oneself.
Cinderella was workshopped in 2019. Announced in 2020, Cinderella was supposed to open by late-2020, but premiered on June 25, 2021, instead, following multiple delays related to COVID-19. It closed on July 12, 2022, and was transferred to Broadway as Bad Cinderella; that production opened on March 23, 2023.
